Video / Film Work
My “day job” since 2008 is shooting video, editing it, adding motion graphics and titles, correcting the color, and filling hundreds of hard drives. I love making behind-the-scenes and mini-docs for artists and small companies. Here are some of my favorites.
And my old camera reel from 2015, which is still pretty dang good…
CREDITS
My long list of clients and subjects includes: Kevin Smith, Steve Vai, Dweezil Zappa, Allan Holdsworth, Seymour Duncan, Brendon Small (Home Movies, Metalocalpyse), Jon Schnepp (The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?), Zeke Piestrup (Apocalypse Later), Society of Biblical Literature, DW Drums & Drum Channel, Titmouse, Chris Higgins, Millennia Media, GuitarTricks, HardFest Hard Summer, Los Lobos, Mark Borchardt, Ashton Kutcher, Ronda Rousey, Mike Stone, Virgil Donati, and Devin Townsend. And lots of other, more boring stuff that pays the bills.
DOCUMENTARIES

In addition to shorter projects, I also direct, edit, and score the music for long-form documentaries. Here is my IMDb.
GEAR
I have a pretty big collection of video and audio gear: a Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6k G2, several Blackmagic 4K Micro Studio cameras, a Canon R6 II mirrorless, a bunch of Canon prime lenses, plenty of Shure & Rode mics (dynamic, condenser, shotgun, handheld, lavaliers), and way too many C-stands. I also have an external studio in the Los Angeles area.
I edit in Premiere and Resolve.
For audio recording and mixing, I use Cubase. For orchestral scoring, I use Vienna Symphonic Library, and have made several tutorials for their channel on YouTube.
